Brandon's Story:

I'm Brandon Morales, founder of Phenix Consulting Group.

I built this firm because I kept seeing the same problem: business owners are excellent at what they do. Selling, building, designing. But who are making some of their most important financial decisions without the right information or at a loss on how to grow their operation. They may have a bookkeeper handling transactions and a CPA showing up at tax time, but nobody actually in their corner helping them understand what the numbers mean and what to do about it.

That's the gap Phenix fills.

My Background:

I've spent 18+ years in finance and accounting, working across corporate environments including Fortune 100 companies and small business operations. I've sat in CFO seats, controller seats, and owner seats. That combination matters: I know how enterprise-level finance works, and I know how to make those tools practical and actionable for businesses doing $300M with 100+ employees to businesses doing $3M with 20 employees.

I'm a Cal State Long Beach graduate with experience spanning financial modeling, KPI development, strategic planning, cash flow optimization, bookkeeping, and tax strategy. I've built financial reporting systems from scratch, cleaned up accounting messes, and helped founders make smarter decisions at every stage of growth. And beyond the credentials, I've run my own company. I know what it feels like to manage cash flow anxiety, weigh a big decision without enough data, and make payroll under pressure. That experience shapes how I work with every client.

This isn't a firm where you sign a contract and get handed off to someone junior. When you work with Phenix, you work directly with me.

I specialize in translating financial data into clear, actionable guidance; not reports you file and forget. My clients get real answers to real questions: Is this hire affordable right now? I work on flat monthly retainers, fully remote, with a focused client roster, which means you get real attention, not a volume play.
